OFFICE PHONE Messaging Issue

Please be aware that our office phone messaging system has been malfunctioning for the past six weeks.  When you call the Office outside of office hours or when the Administrator is unable to answer your call due to being on the phone or away from her desk, the system DOES NOT answer your call to allow you to leave a message.

We are hoping to resolve this issue soon but in the meantime, we hope that you will call again during Office hours (9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Tues, Wed and Thurs), try your call again if your call is unanswered during office hours OR send an email to and the Office Administrator will respond as soon as possible.  THANK YOU!

NEWSLETTER CHANGES effective September 2018

The Board of Trustees voted to try a new newsletter format this year.  Instead of a monthly newsletter, we will publish a more comprehensive edition in September, January and April to coincide with the seasons of our church year.

This new newsletter will feature more in-depth articles on various aspects of our congregational life, as well as innovations occurring in churches elsewhere.  We hope this newsletter change will be well received.  If you have any comments about the changes, please send your comments to one of the Newsletter Committee members: Rev. Carie, Martha N, Nancee C, or the office administrator.

  • Weekly E-Blast (sent via email): Submissions are due by Wednesday 9:00 AM. The e-mail is sent to the Congregation late Wednesday afternoon.
  • Sunday Order of Service Announcements: Submissions are due to the office by Thursday 9:00 AM.
  • Send all submissions for either publication to

Services 9:15 & 11:00 a.m. "Lock Them Up" Rev. Carie Johnsen

We live in a society where “lock them up” is the reflexive response to those who challenge or threaten us—a society where people chanting “Lock Her Up” seems natural. This service will weave together professional, prisoner and ministerial perspectives on incarceration.

Join us following the 11:00 a.m. service for a special presentation:
